A modern classic done properly. The shell is pressure-moulded so the curve does the work of supporting your back, and a thin upholstered pad softens the seat without bulk. At just under nine pounds it moves easily between desk, dining table and spare room.

Legs are solid beech with a natural finish and steel cross-bracing hidden underneath for rigidity. Floor-friendly nylon glides are fitted as standard.

Wipes clean in seconds, which makes it a sensible choice for families. Flat-packed with a four-screw assembly.
